Karen Horejs, Realtor - Properties in PA and MD

 

After graduating from Mercyhurst College, Karen Horejs spent 25 years as a Registered Nurse in Erie, PA. When her husband’s job relocated their family 17 years ago to the Cumberland Valley , her 5 children were very young. Her interest in bringing the best to a community and her 4  boys led her to become involved with the local Boy Scouts of America. She held various leadership positions such as Cubmaster and chairing district training events. She later became a board member of the Mason Dixon Council as Vice President of Cub Scout Program. She was recipient of the Silver Beaver Award which is the highest Council award and each of her 4 son’s earned their Eagle Scout Award. Her middle son is a pilot for the United States Coast Guard. Her daughter is the pharmacist at the local Greencastle CVS.

Learning to give back and being an advocate is central to who Karen is. Her professional skills along with her hard working attitude and love of marketing led her to pursue a career in real estate in 2004. Since that first year when she was awarded PenMar’s Rookie of the Year, she has always been a top volume producer.  “Helping people with one of the biggest decisions of their life is such an honor. Being their advocate and making their move as easy as possible are my goals. People look to us for guidance with life changes and this is a responsibility that we cannot take lightly.”
